</div></div>Just to reiterate and clarify what Andreas said... you need an authentication<br>
config defined for <span style="font-weight: bold;">both</span> directories (~nagios/share and ~nagios/sbin). If you<br>
just put it in ~nagios/share, then you will get prompted for auth info when<br>
you first browse to the nagios directory, but when you use one of the CGIs<br>
your username will not get passed to the CGI resulting in a "not authorized"<br>
error message.<br>
