Thanks again for all of your assistance, as it's been a while and I am not as experienced in Linux. Again the issue is after I go to run the configure command and the make all, make install and make install-config, according to the documentation I should see 5 different subdirectories, the directories I see are bin, sbin, share, and var and var/archives. The directories I am missing is VAR/RW and ETC. Thanks again for all of your help. When I did the installation I was logged in with root.

Sincerely,

>
> Hello Team,
> I am having trouble with installation of Nagios, I get to the point in
the
> beginning after the install it is supposed to install 5 directories, I
am
> only seeing 4 directories, I am installing as Root so its not a
permission
> issue. Please advise.

Examine the install targets that are displayed after compile finishes
and use the one you're lacking. A totally arbitrary guess would be 'make
install-config'. As others have indicated, you need to provide specific
information about your problem if you expect specific answers.
