Nagios has been running fine for us for months.
After a simple change to update the contact list, all check_nt checks are
periodically failing with socket timeouts. I have upgraded to Nagios 2.8 and I
have tried increasing the timeout to 59 seconds, but the problem is getting
worse. It seems like every second or third check cycle all the check_nt checks
timeout. Then later they will all recover.
