<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Does anyone have method of determining is a database is up and accessible ?</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">At the moment we check the server is up and services are running, but my availability reports don't show if staff can't login to a db.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I'm thinking nrpe+wmi might be useful, or old fashioned vbs.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Or perhaps SQL2005 have some snmp OIDs I can query ?</FONT>
