I have some info on how I did it here: http://www.techadre.com/content/addon-nagios-event-log

Using NagEventLog on the windows boxes with an NSCA service on my Nagios server.

It works great in our environemnts... of course we all know how noisy a windows event log can be, but we have all errors reported and just excluded a bunch of EventIDs we don't need to worry about chirping.

--
Mat W. - http://www.techadre.com
