<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">We are running Nagios 3.1.2 on one of our servers, and the following anomaly is occurring:</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Several of our clients have been taken offline, during which time they were detected as being down. </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I have gone through the motions of commenting out references to them in the services file located in</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">the /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects directory. Even though the clients are no longer being monitored, </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">they are still showing up as being down. </FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">What other steps do I need to take in order to correct this problem? Thanks.</FONT>
