notify with qmail and gentoo problem

Thanks to everyone who has responded!!!

Apparently the problem is that my Linux installation (Gentoo 1.4 rc1)
installs mail in /bin/mail instead of /usr/bin/mail and the make
install-config didn't catch that and I wasn't swift enough to figure out the
mail line in misc_commands.cfg. BTW, Solaris seems to put it in both
locations. I just added /bin/mail before the -s in misc_commands.cfg and all
works fine now.

I don't know how strange my installation is (default mail location for
gentoo) but maybe it's good to look for mail in /bin/mail also? Maybe people
consider gentoo broken, dunno, not a mail expert...

Thanks again!!!

Lloyd
