Dear All,

I was just wondering if anybody is successfully monitoring their SQL
transaction logs size and usage through Nagios. I have tried using
check_nt but it would seem that whatever performance counters I try and
access it just crashes the NSClient on the server being monitored. I have
also tried to use SNMP but SQL MIBS are not available unless you purchase
additional software.

We are using NSCLient v 1.084

I would much prefer the check_nt route as it means we do not need to
install additional software on each of our SQL Servers. If anybody is
monitoring such statistics, could you share with me your methods and your
config files ? Any help would be very much appreciated !

Many thanks

Matthew
