nagios is confused - database problem?

Hi.
I have a problem with nagios' web interface showing some services as down.
When I look at each service for more information, the service is up.
Refreshing the "overview of the services" page will show the service
to be up again.

This isn't a browser caching problem.

I recently upgraded mysql and nagios, and suspect the database has
become confused.
Is there a way to check it for intergrity with nagios? mysqlcheck says
everything is fine.

Anyone help?
