I'm not sure I have a strong opinion either way, just that if we decide we
want to change it, or even consider it in the future, now is the best time
to do it. Can we have it use either .o or .so and just have livestatus be
.so for now? That would allow backwards compatibility but move in the
direction we think we should ?
I updated the Fedora build to use .so for now so at least the builds are
going again.
