How can I monitor Managed Switch & Router with Nagios

Hello All,

Can anyone tell me that how can I monitor Managed Switch and Router (with SNMP enabled) with the Nagios.
On the Switch and router side I can only enable SNMP service. Can anyone send me a full "How to" for it if you have done it earlier.
Can there is any tool that does auto-discovery of the whole network so that I can configure the Nagios accordingly.
One more thing that when I tried to install the NSClient on some winnt machine then it has given an error. Any sugessions ......?
