Nagios Installation

Hello,

I'm new to Nagios and Linux in general so please excuse me if this is a
simple problem. The problem occurs installing Nagios on RH 8.0 machine. I
run the ./configure with no errors, however when I run the "make all"
command I recieve the following error:

usr at server.com# make all

cd ./base && make
make[1]: Entering directory '/usr/local/nagios/nagios-1.0/base'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target '../common/locations.h', needed by
'checks.o'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/local/nagios/nagios-1.0/base'
make: *** [all] Error 2
