monitor mysql server

Karl,

I found the file in question. It did not get unpacked when I did the initial
setup.
I'm guessing there are some libaries that are prerequisite for the plug-in
to work.
Is there anyway to find out which ones they are, and also how can I compile
this 
specific plug-in?

If I had such a question, I might look at the plugins source code and notice

a file called 'check_pgsql'. 

If somehow I missed that, I'd unpack the distribution and 'grep -ri postgres

nagios-plugins-1.3.0-beta3' 

If neither of those turned up anything, then I'd send an email for help. 

(I'll give you a hint, IMHO you should have been able to find the plugin 
yourself - it does exist)
