Newbie a little bit confused

Hello List!

I run Debian/sid and nagios-mysl (2:1.2-3.1)

nagios 1.2

Last Modified: 02-02-2004

I have the following and only entry in my hosts.cfg:

define host{
        host_name               			laptopjkt
        alias                                 		labby
        address                            	 	10.85.200.7
        check_command                   	check-host-alive
        max_check_attempts              	5
        process_perf_data               		0
        retain_nonstatus_information    	0
        notification_interval           		30
        notification_period             		24x7
        notification_options            		d,u,r
}

But a nagios -v nagios.cfg shows

Checking hosts...
Error: There are no hosts defined!
        Checked 0 hosts.

What's wrong here my my hosts.cfg?
