No config files found in nagio 2.4

Hi Radhika,
You have to create your own services.cfg, hosts.cfg file, etc in the etc directory. To do this probably, you can just rename all the sample files to the file names what nagios is looking for.
Let us take the example of nagios.cfg-sample, which you can rename to nagios.cfg or just make duplicate copy of sample file with name nagios.cfg. Same way for all of the sample files and make the changes according to requirement.
Regards,
Dash

Check your configuration file(s) to ensure that they contain valid
directives and data defintions. If you are upgrading from a previous
version of Nagios, you should be aware that some variables/definitions
may have been removed or modified in this version. Make sure to read
the HTML documentation regarding the config files, as well as the
'Whats New' section to find out what has changed.
I have checked the /usr/local/nagios/etc directory where it should be but i couldn't find any hosts, groups ...etc file in this directory.
I have only these sample files bigger.cfg cgi.cfg checkcommands.cfg minimal.cfg misccommands.cfg nagios.cfg resource.cfg
In nagios 2.4 we have create all these files manually or how to fix this problem
Thanks
