problem in installing Nagios with cygwin

please always use the list so that others can learn from you problem.

I compiled nagios 3.00 on a cygwin CYGWIN_NT-5.1 1.5.25(0.156/4/2) 
2008-06-12 19:34.
My configure line for nagios was like:

  $ ./configure --enable-cygwin --with-nagios-group=nagcmd 
--with-nagios-user=nagios

However for compiling the user should not be important.
What was you configure line and how did you call make? with which arguments?
